The purple/white basketball game will be Wednesday, November 19.


Basketball - The first day of practice will be Monday, November 10, 2008.

Cross Country - The cross country team placed 5th in the MSHSAA State Championship Meet. The team was led by Asabe O"Neill (22nd) who earned All-State honors. Other team members were Blakelee Kimmis (30th), Mary Frances Donnelly (31st), Bailey Loyd (41), Molly Meek (69th), Kelsey Salzman (79th) and Morgan Vannoy (102nd).

Field Hockey - For their last game of the season, the varsity field hockey team shut out Pembroke Hill 1-0 with a goal by Lindsay Bennett.  The jv team was down 1-0 at half time when lightning ended the game.

Golf - The Storm golf team, led by individual state champion Celeste Gassman, won their second consecutive MSHSAA State Championship by 18 strokes. In addition to Celeste, the team consisted of Christina Behnken (6th place), Francie Reintjes (9th place), Abby Bernard (29th place) and Alexandra Keane (38th place). Celeste, Christina and Francie earned All-State honors.

Soccer - The first day of practice will be Monday, March 2, 2009.

Softball - The softball team beat Raytown South, 8-2, in the first round of the District 13 Tournament.

Swim & Dive - The first day of practice will be Monday, November 17, 2008.

Tennis - The tennis team won their second straight MSHSAA State Championship. The team included Maddie Keller, Meghan Linville, Ali Patterson, Amy Barnthouse, Emmy Bird and Michelle Nogalski. Maddie and Ali took second in doubles while Amy placed fifth in the singles competition.

Track - The first day of practice will be Monday, March 2, 2009.

Volleyball - The Storm volleyball team fell to Lee's Summit North in a very hard fought match in the semi finals of the District 13 Tournament. Caitlin Adams was selected All-District and Honorable Mention All-State.
