Complete KU Relays Results

Congratulations to Mary Frances Donnelly and Brianna Latson on earning All-State Honors at the MSHSAA Class 3 Track Championship. Mary Frances placed 3rd in the 800 (2:20.86), Brianna took 8th place in the long jump (15' 10").

The Storm track team placed 6th out of 25 schools represented at the sectional track meet.  Mary Frances Donnelly won the 800 in a time of 2:22.52 to qualify for the state championship next weekend.  Also qualifying for the state meet: Brianna Latson (long jump), Avery Loyd (300 hurdles), and Jasmine Thomas (long jump, 200).  Congratulations and good luck next weekend at the state meet.

The Storm track team placed 5th in the Class 3 District 7 meet. Mary Frances Donnelly (800) and Avery Loyd (300 hurdles) won district championships and will be competing next week in the sectional meet. Congratulations to the other girls that qualified for the sectional meet: Mary Frances (4x400), Michelle King (4x400), Brianna Latson (long jump, triple jump), Avery (4x400), Sarah Marquardt (4x400) and Jasmine Thomas (200, long jump).

Congratulations to the track & field athletes that competed at the KU Relays over the weeekend. Mary Frances Donnelly placed 9th in the 800 (2:20.28) and 10th in the 1600 (5:17.89). Brianna Latson placed 13th in the triple jump (34' 6.25") and 19th in the long jump (16' .25"). Avery Loyd placed 27th in the 300 hurdles (49.29).

The varsity will open the season on Friday, April 1 at the Rusty Hodge Invitational at Blue Springs South.

The freshmen and sophomores will be opening the season at the Arrowhead Invitational at St. Joe Central on Tuesday, March 29.
