We play our home matches at Leawood City Park, located just south of I-435 on Lee Blvd.

Directions:

I-435 to State Line Rd

North on State Line Rd. to 103rd St.

Turn left (west) on 103rd to Lee Blvd.

Turn left (south) on Lee Blvd.

Go across I-435 and turn left into Leawood City Park.

Sion's 2009 tennis team has started the season on a great note. Both the varsity and JV teams have played head-to-head matches against Bishop Miege, Barstow, and Liberty and swept each team 9-0. The Varsity team traveled to Wichita for a tournament where senior, Emmy Bird, and freshman, Brydie O'Connor, won 1st place in doubles. Senior, Amy Barnthouse, placed 2nd in singles, and the team won the tournament. While the Varsity team was in Wichita the JV  team won a tournament in the Northland. Junior, Becky Ramm, place 1st in Division A singles. Sophomore, Kelsey Brown, won division B singles. Sophomores, Madison Cowherd and Grace Halsey, placed second in Division A doubles, and Juniors, Caroline Brain and Bridget Pederson won their Division B doubles.
