The team capped off a great season with a second place finish in the state tournament. Ellen Hoeper and Sally Meiners earned All-State honors with individual finishes of 2nd and 13th respectively. Ellen also recently received the Kenneth Smith Award as the most outstanding young female golfer in the Kansas City area as well as being selected to the KC Star's All-Metro 1st team
