The crowd came out in force to help lead the Storm to a 50-36 win over the Stars of St. Teresa's on Senior Night. Great job girls! Great article in the KC Star about the game last night.
The swim/dive team will be traveling to Springfield this weekend. Basketball - The first day of practice is Monday, October 31, 2011. Cross Country - The cross country team won the District 7 championship for the 14th time in the last 16 years. The team placed 7th in the MSHSAA Class 3 State Championship. Field Hockey - The field hockey team beat Heritage Hall 2-1 on Senior Day. Golf - After winning the district tournament, the golf team placed 8th at the shortened MSHSAA Class 2 tournament. They were led by Grace Keane (16th), Amanda Malecki (49th), Hannah Malvey (49th), Maura Healy (80th) and Claire Kramer (83). Lacrosse - The first day of practice is Monday, February 27, 2012. Soccer - The first day of practice is Monday, February 27, 2012. Softball - The Storm placed 2nd in the Class 4 District 13 tournament falling 3-1 to Belton. Swim & Dive - The first day of practice is Monday, November 14, 2011. Tennis - Doubles team Denise Chiao and Anna Koutelas lost in the first round at the state championship. Michaela Henne and Brydie O'Connor both made it to the semifinals and received medals. Track & Field - The first day of practice is Monday, February 27, 2012. Volleyball - The Storm fell to the Ray-Pec in the district volleyball semi finals.
