The Storm Basketball team will celebrate Senior Night on Tuesday, February 9 as they take on the Celtics of O'Hara.
The Storm Swim/Dive team will be competing in the Tom Horn Invitational/ILC meet this Wednesday and Thurday.
Basketball - The first day of practice (tryouts) will be Monday, November 9. Cross Country - The Storm Harriers won the District 7 Championship placing all 7 runners in the top 10. Asabe O'Neill placed 7th at the MSHSAA Class 3 Championship earning All-State honors. The team placed 8th. Field Hockey - The Varsity Field Hockey team defeated Heritage Hall, Oklahoma 5-1 on Saturday, with senior Lindsay Bennett scoring a hatrick of goals. Golf - The Storm won the District 7 Championship. Frances Reintjes was the medalist shooting an 81. The Storm won their 3rd consecutive MSHSAA Class 2 championship. Christina Benhken, Alexandra Keane, Francie Reintjes and Erin Shriver all earned All-State honors. Soccer - The first day of practice (tryouts) will be Monday, March 1, 2010. Softball - The Storm softball team lost to Blue Springs in the second round of the district tournament, 7-1. Swim & Dive - The first day of practice (tryouts) will be Monday, November 16. Tennis - The Storm placed 3rd in the MSHSAA Class 1 tournament. Amy Barnthouse placed 3rd in singles at the MSHSAA tournament. Emmy Bird and Bridget O'Connor placed 5th in doubles. All three earned All-State honors Track & Field - The first day of practice (tryouts) will be Monday, March 1, 2010. Volleyball - The Storm volleyball team upset Lee's Summit in the first round of the District 13 tournament.
